Indian Head Massage

What is Indian Head Massage?

Indian Head Massage is a traditional complementary therapy that has its origins in the ancient Ayurvedic healing system of India. The treatment focuses on the head, scalp, face, neck and shoulders—areas where many people commonly hold tension as a result of everyday stress, poor posture and busy lifestyles.

Using a combination of gentle massage techniques, acupressure and rhythmic movements, Indian Head Massage aims to release muscular tension, promote relaxation and support overall physical and emotional wellbeing. The treatment can be adapted to suit your individual needs and can be performed either seated in a specially designed chair or lying comfortably on a treatment couch.
